A real place
26 years in the Valley, with the lights on.
SVTC was founded in 2000 by Rev. John Franich in a one-room office in the Shenandoah Valley. Today his son Justin — a Teen Challenge graduate, clean since 2005 — leads the ministry with his wife Ashley.
We’re not a rehab. We walk alongside families: in the crisis, through the program search, and long after placement. For men further along, we also run Rebuilding Life Sober Living Home here in Mount Jackson.

Your giving keeps help free for the next family.
When a family calls SVTC, the help is free — the conversation, the referrals, the guides, the support groups. Monthly partners are why. Your giving keeps it that way for the next family who finds us at 2 a.m.
